In our Science lessons, we have been learning all about the different States of Matter - Solid, Liquid and Gas. We completed activities in groups to decide which States of Matter various materials were in and created a Venn diagram to represent them. We then completed an observation of Solids that behave like a liquid and looked at the more closely using a magnifying glass. Can you explain why solids such as sugar, salt and sand behave like a liquid. i. e they can be poured and take the shape of the container that they are in?
